1. Re: legacy pattern blocks & how to get them in fl 11!!!!! Blocks are no longer supported by IL, and it doesn't matter what anyone says, they won't be coming back ever. Eventually the coding that makes them work will be removed, so this is only a temporary fix.
2. The 11.1.1 version of FL Studio 11 is available as a free download on our website. This PC program was developed to work on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 and is compatible with 32-bit systems. This program is a product of Image-Line.

I just recently upgraded to FL Studio 11 and it's really nice. You can always re-route your VST and browser paths to any directories including old FL 10 folders of your choice. Also, if you've kept your VST's in the same place outside of the IL directory, then that should easily be transferred over and seamless to get running in FL 11.

The only thing that was holding me back was my beloved pattern blocks. I know they have been trying to ween us off pattern blocks, but it's not too big of a deal. I wish it were still an actual feature, and will continue to be, but it is what it is.

BUT! I do have a little regkey edit that makes the legacy pattern blocks option come back in your general settings.

Basically it just puts the option back into the settings. It's still in the program, but hidden. There are too many threads and topics all over the internet over the pattern blocks but let's save that for another time.

There's really no reason not to update since it really makes things a lot better, especially now that it's been out for a while and if not having pattern blocks was a huge turn off to you, well now you have no excuses.
